Dear Jon Dalzell and the ISAAC's movers,

On behalf of the Boston Children's Chorus I want to thank you for your abundant generosity on October 11, 2008. When we learned that one of our families experienced a fire in which all possessions were ruined we knew that we had to act, and quickly. We were informed that the family did not have beds, a refrigerator, or clothing. As our families began to bring box after box of food, clothing, linens and more it was clear that we could not move these items on our own.

When we called you we had placed calls to 6 other moving companies none of which returned our phone calls - you called us back within minutes leaving a message that we still have saved on our voicemail. It said "We would love to help - we would love to dedicate our resources to our community. Whatever you need let us know and we'd be happy to assist you." Your warm words helped us fulfill our mission of healing our community.

With your help we were able to not only furnish their home with futons, beds, and linens but with a refrigerator. After only using a cooler for 7 days the youngest child (8 year old Annicia) was extremely relieved. The fear of the fire will not leave this family but the open commitment and dedication from those around them will allow them to open a new chapter in their lives.

You are much more than a moving company you are a true member of our community - and for that we thank you.

Warmly,
The Boston Children's Chorus
